Tribal Environmental ListServ

The Tribal Environmental Law Project of the Northern Plains Indian Law Center of the University of North Dakota announces a new electronic mail subscriber list (listserv). The list, called "Turtle Island", is dedicated to addressing environmental injustice by promoting communication among people affected by environmental degradation and pollution in the territories of indigenous peoples in the world. Membership to the list is open to any person anywhere in the world.

Turtle Island is an inter-disciplinary list, and welcomes postings from all perspectives, including legal, scientific, political, activist, management, finance, administrative, etc., as they relate to issues of environmental quality.

To subscribe to "Turtle Island" send an electronic message with only the word, subscribe in the subject line, to:

(the letter following the second hyphen is a small "L").
