"Zach Goodrich,
Sequoyah graduate"

TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma - 2007 Sequoyah graduate Zach Goodrich went on to play basketball at
Sterling College in Kansas after graduation, but that won’t stop him
from gracing the floor of Sequoyah’s Place Where They Play once again.
Sterling will play against Hillsdale College on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 4
p.m. at Sequoyah Schools in Tahlequah.
“It will be nice to see Zach again,” said Sequoyah Schools’ basketball
coach Larry Grigg. “He’s doing a great job for Sterling and this is a
great opportunity for some of us to get to see him play that may not be
able to travel to his games.”
Goodrich, a 5’7” junior guard is currently leading the Sterling Warriors
in scoring with an average of 14.7 points per game. Goodrich is
assisted on the team by another former Sequoyah student, Randy July.
July is currently averaging 10 points per game and their season is off
to a 4-0 start.
Although he lives in Kansas, Goodrich still has ties to Sequoyah. His
youngest sister, Nikki Lewis, is a senior this year and sister Angel
Goodrich graduated from Sequoyah in 2008. Angel now plays basketball at
the University of Kansas.
Tickets to the game are $5 for adults and $3 for students, and will be
available at the door. The doors will open approximately one hour
before game time and concession will be available.
