MUSKOGEE, OK — The Cherokee Nation will host a Health Fair on
Tuesday, May 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Three Rivers Health
Center, located in Muskogee.
The event is being held in conjunction with National’s Women’s Health Week, which empowers women across the country to get healthy by taking action. The nationwide initiative, coordinated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office on Women's Health (OWH), encourages women to make their health a top priority and take simple steps for a longer, healthier and happier life. During the week, families, communities, businesses, government, health organizations and other groups work together to educate women about steps they can take to improve their physical and mental health and prevent disease. The Health Fair is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Loretta Denney, phone: 918-781-6532. |
