TAHLEQUAH, OKLAHOMA - The Cherokee Nation will host a Surety Bonding and Small Business Insurance Workshop on Tuesday, October 16, at 6 p.m., in the Tribal Council Chambers of the Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah and again on Tuesday, October 30, at 6 p.m., at the Cherokee Casino Resort in Catoosa. The workshop is sponsored by the Cherokee Nation One Stop Business Center and the Tribal Employments Rights Office (TERO). Workshop topics will include: surety bonding, health insurance, workers’ compensation, property insurance and liability insurance. There is no cost for attending. Presenters at the workshop will include: Wilcox, Jones and McGrath Insurance, Oklahoma Blue Cross Shield and the State of Oklahoma O-EPIC Health Insurance Premium Assistance.
