TULSA, OKLAHOMA - Cherokee Nation Enterprises (CNE) recently accepted a beautiful work of art from the Oklahoma Association for Problem and Compulsive Gambling (OAPCG), as a token of the organization’s appreciation for CNE’s strong and continual support.

CNE is the retail, gaming and hospitality company owned by the Cherokee Nation, which operates Cherokee Casinos. The OAPCG is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to help communities respond to people and families affected by problem gambling. The organization relies on key partnerships, like the one shared with CNE, to remain a vital aid for those who need OAPCG’s services.

“CNE has been tremendously supportive of the OAPCG’s efforts,” said Mike Smith, Executive Director of OAPCG. “This picture represents our deep gratitude to CNE, and I know that we will continue to build on this crucial alliance.”

“We take our responsibility to our guests and our communities very seriously,” said David Stewart, CEO of Cherokee Nation Enterprises. “It’s our mission to provide superior entertainment in a safe environment and we strive to do this as an evolving socially conscious company.”

As a leader in the state’s gaming and entertainment market, Cherokee Nation Enterprises operates seven Cherokee Casinos located throughout northeast Oklahoma. CNE stresses the importance of responsible gaming to its employees and guests. Not only is the company a major donor to OAPCG, but it also provides easy access to its very own gambling support system known as Play Smart at each Cherokee Casino.

Award-winning artist Dayne Dudley, a Cherokee citizen, created the magnificent painting given to CNE. The work is a beautiful rendition of Oklahoma’s state bird, the scissortail flycatcher. Dudley, a Tulsa native, is a sports artist by trade and has done work for professional and college sports teams in all 50 states.
