Through the Cherokee Nation’s self-help program, residents of the Dry Creek community now have a waterline. The six-mile waterline was coordinated through the Cherokee Nation Community Services department. In the self-help program, the tribe provides materials and oversight, while the work is performed by volunteers in the community. Watch Cherokee Nation news video.
