SALLISAW, OKLAHOMA – The Cherokee Nation will be offering a free business workshop entitled “Setting Up Your Business” Tuesday, March 14, from 6 pm – 9 pm at the Sallisaw Housing Authority office, located at 33807 W. Cherokee in Sallisaw.

The presenter for the workshop will be Sue Floyd from the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center. Topics include legal structure of business, defining your business, licensing, tax permits, limited liability corporations, and sole proprietorship.

The workshop is free and open to the public. Business owners and anyone interested in starting a business are encouraged to attend.
