PARK HILL, OK – Skilled Cherokee artisan Veronica Gaston will teach the basics of loom weaving on Saturday, May 21st at the Cherokee Heritage Center. This comprehensive class is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offers students the opportunity to weave items while learning about a prominent piece of Cherokee history.Traditionally, the Cherokee people did not use looms for weaving.
