TAHLEQUAH, OKLAHOMA - The Kenwood Head Start children, parents, and staff recently participated in the 51st annual Cherokee National Holiday parade.

The children made a float entitled, "Footprints of the Future" and covered it with the children’s footprints.

"There were a lot of people", said Belle Pickup, 4, a student at Kenwood Head Start.

"The parade allowed the children to experience the Cherokee Holiday first hand," said Dora Jennings, staff member at Kenwood Head Start.
