TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation will host five community meetings in February. Principal Chief Chad Smith will be present to update community members on Cherokee Nation programs and services. All meetings will begin at 7:00 p.m.

The dates and locations for the community meetings are:

*Tuesday, February 4, at the Stilwell Senior Housing meeting room, 400 North 8th Street in Stilwell.

*Tuesday, February 18, at the Pryor Fairgrounds auditorium, 1 mile east of Pryor on old highway 20.

*Thursday, February 20, at Afton Vo-tech school auditorium, building A, 19901 S. Hwy. 69.

*Monday, February 24, at the Kansas Community building, scenic Hwy. 412 or old Hwy. 33 at Cherokee road.

*Tuesday, February 25, at the Grove High School auditorium, 517 West 10th St. in Grove.
