TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation is opening a Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) office in Hulbert at the Northeastern Oklahoma Community Health Center. Cherokee Nation WIC program provides nutrition education and vouchers for supplemental foods to infants, children under 5 years of age, and pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women.To be eligible for WIC services, women and children must be at nutritional risk and meet income guidelines.
Cherokee Nation WIC services at the Northeastern Oklahoma Community Health Center will be provided every Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will begin on Monday, June 3.
