Cherokee Nation to Hold Public Meeting
"On Community Development And
Housing Needs for Cherokee Nation"

The Cherokee Nation will conduct a meeting to obtain the views of citizens on community development and housing needs throughout the 14-county jurisdictional area of the Cherokee Nation. This meeting will be in conjunction with an application for funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Indian Community Development Block Grant program.
The meeting will be held on May 9, 2002, at 6:00 p.m. in the Tribal Council Chambers at the Cherokee Nation’s W.W. Keeler Tribal Complex on U.S. 62 south of Tahlequah. Please contact Sharon Dry, phone toll free: 800-256-0671(ext. 2483) or 453-7144 if you have questions.
