PRYOR, OKLAHOMA - The Cherokee Nation Salina A-Mo Community Clinic will be sponsoring a community back to school screening on August 1.The screenings will be held at Cherokee Heights in building 205 in Pryor from 9 until 12 and from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Screenings include head checks, blood pressure, blood sugars, and back to school immunizations.
A parent or guardian must be present with a current immunization record, before immunization shots can be given to children.
"No appointments are necessary, just come on down and get checked out," said Alana Smith, Cherokee Nation community health nurse supervisor. "We will also have a person from W.I.C. present with information, along with a representative from the Housing Authority and other various related information on Cherokee Nation health programs. Everyone is welcome to attend."
