TAHLEQUAH, OK — The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma has dispatched two more crews of fire fighters to Missoula, Montana to fight fires blazing there. Those 36 fire fighters replace one crew of Cherokee Nation fire fighters that returned to Tahlequah from Montana late last night after two weeks of duty. This crew will rest for a couple of days and will likely return to battle wildfires in Montana this weekend.
