Today I am going to continue with the Cherokee numbering system and we will deal with the numbers 20-30. What you will notice as you count from 20 - 30 is that you start with the base number of twenty (ta-l-s-go) and you will add you will add a number from 1 to 9 as you count higher. Thirty is a classic example of this. You might think that thirty should be pronounced (tso-s-go) instead of (tso-o-sgo) and once you start counting again the (tso-o-s-go) changes to (tso-s-go). I will show you in tomorrow's lesson. As we learn our numbers we will start incorporating them into everyday conversation. *For new members-If you have just started receiving lessons you can go to http://www.listbot.com, click List Subscribers and enter your member information, click (View List Archives), click (Cherokee Language Lessons) and choose the back lesson that you need. .
